Natural Disasters

Apparently, there was an earthquake in my area today. I didn't feel, as did most people, but there were those few who were awake at the time and felt the whole thing. This was the first earhtquakeI have ever expierenced, and for a first, it wasn't much. I always hear about all those earhtquakes that wipe out entire villages and kill lots of people, but my earthquake did injure anyone and only caused a building to lose some parts of its roof. I hear htere has also been tornadoes near my own home, one went down an adjacent street, but it never touched ground, so noone really made a big deal about it. As for quakes and twisters, there haven;t bee ntoo many natrual disasters near me. I guess I am lucky, but I feel unlucky, because if a major disaster does occur, I won't be ready, and might possibly get injured. Do any of you readers have some good storm stories?
